Q: As an expert and owner of an IT Business Solutions company what issues are you currently seeing due to the new working conditions put on us by COVID-19?
A: There is a massive need for home computing. Because this is the first time so many people have worked from home, businesses are lacking the proper equipment and services, like security, that are necessary to have a productive business when working from home.
Q: How can/is your business help people that are dealing with these problems?
A: We are providing our customers with these products through our leasing deal, this deal includes laptops, cameras, microphones and a firewall. Acme also is using VPN’s (Virtual Private Network) connection to secure home computing as the data travels back and forth from the office to home, etc. These services have really helped our customers, so much in fact that it’s even lowering their FTE.
Q: You mentioned being able to lower your customers FTE (full-time equivalent) how exactly is Acme capable of doing that?
A: We are seeing jobs roles change drastically. With people working from home and with the possibility of less office interruptions remote workers may be able to achieve more. With technology assets so readily available, the new workplace, which may be an employees home office, can be just as, or more efficient as previous in-office set ups.
The trick is to have access to the correct efficiency tools. Acme Business, as a managed services partner can help plan out what those would be for your company.
